Terms of service
The terms that apply when your company uses Regsta. No setup fee, no lock-in, and no automatic move to a paid plan.
Last updated 29 September 2026
1. Scope and provider
These terms apply to all use of Regsta. Regsta is provided by Keyton ApS, CVR 38508571, Aalborg, Denmark. Regsta is a digital tool for recording and documenting working time.
The customer remains responsible for complying with the working-time rules that apply to it, and for its payroll decisions. Regsta supports the documentation. It is not legal advice.
2. Regsta Free
Regsta Free is provided free of charge and without a time limit. It includes the whole product, and the plan sets no technical limit on the number of employees. No payment card is needed to sign up.
A Free account never moves to a paid plan without the customer's explicit, active choice.
3. Paid agreements, in writing only
Regsta does not sell paid plans through self-service. A paid agreement is made only in writing and only after the customer has explicitly accepted it. Price, invoicing and termination are set out in that written agreement. There are no setup fees.
Regsta charges no interest and no late-payment fees. If it has been agreed in writing, late payment can make the account read-only until the matter is settled.
4. The customer's responsibilities
The customer is responsible for:
- inviting the right people;
- giving each person the role they need and no more;
- removing people who no longer need access;
- keeping contact and billing details up to date;
- using Regsta only for lawful business purposes.
5. Customer data: controller and processor
Customer data belongs to the customer. The customer is the data controller for the employee and working-time data entered into Regsta. Keyton ApS acts only as data processor, under the data processing agreement.
Do not enter sensitive personal data in free-text fields unless it is needed.
Read the data processing agreement
6. Audit trail
All clock events, corrections and approvals are written to an audit trail that the database does not allow to be changed or deleted during the retention period. A correction to an earlier time entry always shows the reason, the time and the user who made it.
7. Support
Support is given by email unless something else has been agreed. Regsta support does not ask for passwords. Any privileged access for support reasons must be justified and audited.
8. Suspension and the end of the agreement
Keyton ApS may suspend or restrict access in the case of a material breach, a security risk, abuse, or non-payment under agreed terms.
If the agreement ends or the account is suspended, the customer keeps read-only access to export working-time reports and inspection documentation for as long as the data is kept: at least five years after the reference period. The data is then deleted automatically.
9. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any dispute arising from the agreement must be brought before the District Court of Aalborg (Retten i Aalborg) as the court of first instance.
